What makes you qualified to help me on my fitness and health journey?Great question! For those of you who don’t know, my name is Sam and I’m an National Academy of Sports Medicine (N.A.S.M.) Certified Personal Trainer, N.A.S.M. Corrective Exercise Specialist, N.A.S.M. Sports Enhancement Specialist, and Dotfit Nutrition and Supplement Specialist. I’ve been in the fitness industry for 17+ years and love what I do. To date, I’ve helped transform the bodies of countless athletes and clients and now, I’d be honored to help you too!

What is online training? Does it actually work?With online training I work with clients online, that means I dial in your custom training, nutrition, supplement, and cardio plans for you. Everything I would do for a client in person, I do online. The training and communication is done with my Ask a Fit Guy app, you will be able to see your training program with videos explaining form and cues (along with my kick ass tips for better engagment), you will be able to see your calendar full of your action items for each day, you will have your nutrition plan there for you and you will have direct access to me. We track progress weekly via the scale and pictures so I can see how your body responds week by week. Working online allows me to cut the cost of a personal trainer by 90%, which in turn extends massive savings to clients and allows me to help more people. As long as you are willing to put in the work, online training will create the same results for you as traditional in person training.

What’s the process like for working togetherONLINE COACHING: After payment I send you a questionnaire so I can find out more about your fitness goals, history, medical history, food allergies, food you LOVE, foods you HATE, etc. Once you send me back the questionnaire… 1. I jump headfirst into planning your unique nutrition plan, training program and day split, and cardio and supplement regimen. 2. Then, I send you your custom plan and we schedule in a time for Q&A to go over everything and make sure your questions/concerns are answered. 3. Next, you go grocery shopping to set yourself up to start the program! 4. Once you’ve started, we’ll check in via my Ask a Fit Guy app with current weight and pics so I can see how your body responded to the plan that week. During this time, I’ll analyze your progress and make adjustments as needed and answer any questions. PERSONAL TRAINING 1. Book your first session on my calendar to asses you, go over your goals and get a quick workout. 2. Set a reoccurring date and time with me 3. Pre pay for your sessions 3. Your full plan will be delivered to you and we will continue to train together in person!

What if I have a question between our weekly check insShoot it over! I’m here for you 24/7 via dirrect two way communication is my Ask a Fit Guy app. Anything you need help with you just let me know, I’d be happy to answer any and all questions.

What if I have NO idea how to train?This is the main reason most people hire trainers in the first place, as proper form is needed to activate the proper muscles. The fact that you don’t know how to train can actually be helpful as it allows me to teach you the RIGHT methods and techniques, creating a solid foundation for success. Every training program I design comes with video links to explain every exercise from how to do it, why we do it, what we're targeting, what to feel, what not to feel, and what adjustments to make to fix it. The videos explain each exercise the same as I would in person. This means you’ll receive the exact same information from me you would in person.

Is nutrition really 80% of my results?No, it’s more like 50 – 60% of your results, we shape the body with training and eat for our goals. Nothing happens if we don’t break the body down with training first, it’s a one -two punch, you need both for results. It's sort of like our blank canvas, as soon as we overload the muscles we are in that state of repair or "blank canvas", from there only can we eat for our goals whether it be cutting body fat (calorie deficit with specific macros) or adding lean muscle (calorie surplus with specific macros). Most gym goes and trainers struggle to grasp that and that why most people spin their wheels in the gym and kitchen.

I’m not good with diets, will I still get results?"Diets do not have to be boring. In the questionnaire you send back to me just let me know what foods you like and I’ll find a healthy version of it for you. Believe it or not, I can actually make most foods clean! From ice cream, burgers, tacos, and pizza, there’s no food that can’t be made clean and conducive to you abiding by your meal plan. As long as we’re getting clean wholesome foods within our personal nutrition plan, we’ll get the desired results.

What if I’m a vegan? Can we still work together?Absolutely! I can create a diet for any preference whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, lactose intolerant, have food allergies or any other preference. There’s enough clean wholesome food available at the grocer to complement any dietary preference.

Do I need to take a protein supplements?While I’m a big advocate for protein supplements as they help accelerate results, I will never coerce you into doing something don’t want to. So, no you don’t need to take them if you are against it. You will still most definitely get results
